Our multicultural Island Breeze team engages with communities across Japan through sports, media platforms, schools, workshops, training programs, cultural exchanges, and performances. Our mission is to help people recognize their God-given gifts and identity, empowering them to express their unique beauty both within Japan and on the global stage.

How we Engage...

We carry out this mission through three primary avenues:

Sports Ministries β Engaging with communities through rugby, other sports, and sports chaplaincy to build relationships, encourage character, and share hope.

Communication Platforms β Sharing encouragement, stories, and discipleship through our weekly newsletter, social media, and other creative content, focusing on discovering personal identity and understanding cultural identity from Godβs perspective.

Training Schools β Hosting seminars and accredited training programs through YWAM- Youth with a Mission's University of the Nations.

Island Breeze is part of the family of ministries in Youth With A Mission. We are a decentralised international ministry with autonomous locations around the world. But more than that, we are a movement of cultural redemption, networking with like-minded ministries and individuals to see the redemption of nations around the world, with a mandate to βKnow God and make Him known, through His inherent gifts and expressions in the nationsβ.
